Ownership & funding
The Berean Live News is an independent digital news publisher operating at bereannews.org. This page sets out who runs the title, where its money comes from, and how those two things are kept apart.
Ownership
The title is independently owned and operated by its founding editor. It is not owned by, funded by, or affiliated with any political party, campaign group, government body, church denomination or commercial media group. There are no external shareholders with editorial rights.
How we are funded
- · Display advertising served through third-party ad networks on article and section pages.
- · Reader support and voluntary contributions, where offered.
- · Clearly labelled sponsored content, governed by our sponsored content policy.
We accept no funding that carries editorial conditions. No advertiser, sponsor or supporter sees copy before publication or has any right of approval over what we report.
Editorial independence
Commercial decisions are taken separately from newsroom decisions. Advertising is placed programmatically around editorial content and never inside it in a way that could be mistaken for reporting. Where a story touches a commercial partner, that relationship is disclosed within the article.
Accountability
We publish our editorial standards, a corrections policy and a complaints procedure. Every published story records the editorial workflow it passed through.
